In the year 2000, Belize became the first country to enact legislation expressly prohibiting creditors from accessing assets held in trusts registered in Belize, regardless of circumstances. While other jurisdictions may allow creditors access to trust assets under various conditions, Belize offers a unique level of security in trust planning by refusing to recognize creditor claims against trust assets.

With you as the settlor and our licensed trustees, a trust is established under Belizean law.

The trust is renewed annually subject to fees.

Our annual trustee fee includes:

• Payment of all applicable trust registration fees.
• Annual report on trust assets and activities.
• Provision of trustee services for one year in Belize.
